The Creative Hot Foil Pen is a useful tool
which allows you to add a personal touch to greetings cards, mounts,
albums, photographs, ribbons, wallets, diaries, coasters, bookmarks etc.
The Creative Hot Foil Pen is about the size of a ballpoint pen and
operated on 4.5v from it's own combined mains plug/transformer. There is
no mains voltage lead. Just plug the transformer into a standard 13
amp socket and the silver alloy writing tip heats in about 30 seconds to
the correct temperature.
Standard foils are sued as in the hot foil
printing process. Virtually any colour can be used on many surfaces
including paper, card, leather, plastic and painted surfaces.
The handle of the Creative Hot foil Pen is of unbreakable nylon and the
cool plastic finger grip extends to within an inch of the writing tip for
perfect control. The Creative Hot Foil Pen can be left plugged
indefinitely without harm and the tip will not even scorch paper.
The Creative Hot Foil Pen also has uses in schools, libraries, commerce
and industry for marking books, samples and small runs of plastic
and fancy goods and for correcting minor imperfections in hot foil
blocking work.
Using The Creative Hot Foil Pen
Plug The Creative Hot Foil Pen into the mains
sockets (220v/250v ac only). The plug incorporates a transformer giving
only 4.5 volts output so that it is perfectly safe to use in an home
environment.
In about 30 seconds, The Creative Hot Foil Pen will be hot enough to use.
Hold the foil in position over the area to be marked and the The Creative
Hot Foil pen tip to it, moving it fairly slowly as though drawing with a
ball pen. On light pressure is required.
On surfaces which are resilient, or which soften at temperature, the width
of marking depends upon pressure and can be varied. Marking of any size or
shape may be made by rubbing tip of The Creative Hot Foil Pen evenly over
the whole area.
As well as drawing freehand, you may also use
brass templates (widely available) or by using tracing paper techniques.

The Creative Hot Foil may be left running for any length of time without
harm and it will not overheat or cause scorching. There are no parts
likely to wear out in normal use and this handy tool should last almost
indefinitely.
The Creative Pen at £57.00+VAT is supplied with a stand plus a 2" wide x
400 feet length roll of gold foil. Postage charge is £5.00+VAT to
mainland UK. Quote for other destinations can be advised on request.

Foils are currently supplied in seven metallic colours. All foils are 400 feet in length, no matter how wide you prefer your foils to be cut. We can cut foils down to any size, in multiples of one complete inches, with a minimum size of 2" width.
The cost per inch width x 400 feet length is £2.30+VAT. P&P is extra. We have a minimum postal charge of £5.00 which covers, postage, signed for delivery as well as packing. No extra postage costs will be charged for mainland UK if additional foils are ordered at the same time as the Creative Hot Foil Pen.
